My Story

My name is Leana Hayes. I served 9 years in the Air Force--first as an air traffic controller on the enlisted side, and then I got selected to attend nursing school, and served as a medical-surgical nurse until the end of my contract. I opened my first LLC, Cho Ku Rei Ki, in 2020 as a means to offer my Reiki services and thought pattern retraining to others. I had been trying for years to heal myself, and Reiki was how I found healing combined with teachings from the book The Game of Life and How to Play It by Florence Scovel Shinn. Those 2 methods, helped me find God within which helped transform me into who I am today, and that evolution just continues to get better and better.

Before the healing, I experienced intense anxiety, coupled with bouts of depression and constant pain in my hip and shoulder despite doing all the things "they" tell us to do to fix the problems. I was also going through a divorce and would soon become a single mom. Riddled with shame and guilt, my life felt like it was in shambles. I had checked all the boxes in life we're told will make us feel happy, whole, and complete, but nothing I did was working. I felt cursed and knew I needed help.

I started seeing a therapist, but I could only see her once a week. Fortunately, I found the tools listed above which helped me birth the healer within--creating space for my inner and outer worlds to become deeply harmonious.

Before getting out of the military I got my license in massage therapy and started specializing in metaphysical massage to help people find trapped emotions living in the body. I also received my certification as a Reiki master teacher and Sacred Light Infusion facilitator. I am now operating my business under my DBA Sacred Luminance which expresses the awareness that we hold the truth of light in others even when they can't see it within themselves.

I have worked with countless patients and clients since starting my business which helped me create the L.I.T. Framework for the group coaching sessions.

After navigating the healing journey  predominantly by myself and then diving into group healing, I was able to see how fast the transformation happens when other like-minded individuals hold the light of truth for us to help us let go of the old identity--and we do the same for them. This was the determining factor in creating a group coaching method to help collapse time and create radical change for all my clients as well.
